Johnny Cash, The New Hero Of The England Football Supporters!

If any readers caught today’s England game against Israel, they may have heard the England fans going crazy all game with one particular tune.  Thousands could be seen bouncing up and down singing Johnny Cash’s classic “Ring Of Fire” - does anybody know why?

While the fact that England came way with a very convincing 3 - 0 win and look forward to Wednesday’s clash with Russia with a little more confidence and hope, probably had a lot to do with the euphoric tones of the England faithful - but why Johnny Cash?

For those who have not come across the great man before, here are a selection of the words from this classic :-
